Our Services

Teaching

 

Dr. Reese provides individual music instruction on many instruments, including oboe, violin, organ, piano, saxophone, and harpsichord. He also offers group or individual instruction in music history and theory, music technology, and jazz improvisation. Dr. Reese also directs a local youth orchestra which offers young wind and string players a chance to develop ensemble skills while playing classical repertoire.

Live Music

We provide a touch of class for special occasions, from solo jazz piano to classical string quartets. We work with our network of talented local professional musicians to prepare a special set list of music especially tailored for your occasion, and according to your preferences. Musical Instrument Repair & Restoration

We offer repair and restoration services for orchestral string and woodwind instruments. We can do complete repads and overhauls on woodwind instruments, and we also do basic repair work on string, brass. and keyboard instruments. We also make American-style oboe and English Horn reeds.

Dr. Reese accepts commissions for original compositions, and can provide arrangements of existing pieces for nearly any ensemble and any style. Dr. Reese also offers music engraving services, to turn your manuscript into polished printed parts ready for musicians to play.
